La Caverna open again today from the recovery of one of the most fashionable places in the area in the early 1980s. La Caverna was in fact born in the early 80s from an idea of Cav. Lo Turco... a place created inside a cave at the foot of the medieval castle of the ancient village of Castelmola which soon became the hub of the nightlife in the area on hot summer evenings. La Caverna will always remain as one of the most beautiful stories of this village for the then young boys and tourists from all over the world who stayed in Taormina who spent unforgettable evenings dancing on the small dance floor on the notes of the coolest records of the period passed by small console by Paolo a young blind DJ. A meeting place for young locals and foreigners, this Cavern was transformed from an old cavern into an enchanted place which served as a backdrop for the fun of the young locals and tourists of the time, and also the cradle of romantic stories.
